EM-2206

◎ General Description

EM-2206 is composed of polyurethane compound blends, this product exhibits excellent dry and wet rubbing fastness enhancement performance. It is used on stenter machines for the dry/wet rubbing fastness improvement treatment of sulfur-dyed, reactive-dyed, indigo-dyed, printed fabrics, and pigmented fabrics.

pH Value(1% solution)：2.5-5.5

Solubility：Easily soluble in cold water

◎ Properties and Features

1. Stenter application effects:

2. For reactive and sulfur dyes: Improves wet rubbing fastness to Grade 3, even Grade 3-4

3. For indigo dyes: Improves wet rubbing fastness to Grade 2-3, even Grade 3

4. Minimal impact on the shade of dyed fabrics; also enhances wash fastness

5. Compatible with some silicones in the same bath without affecting dry/wet rubbing fastness

6. Negligible effect on the original hand feel of fabrics and little impact on hydrophilicity

7. Wide application temperature range: Exhibits excellent wet rubbing fastness enhancement when dried or set at 100-170℃

1. Range of application

Used on stenter machines for wet rubbing fastness improvement of sulfur-dyed, reactive-dyed, indigo-dyed, and printed fabrics.

2. Usage Methods

2.1 Recommended dosage: Padding method 20 - 60g/L

2.2 Application example (Padding finishing):

EM-2206: 20 - 60g/L  under pH value: 6-7, Process: Padding → Drying → Setting

3. Application precautions:

3.1. This product can be used in the same bath with some softeners such as silicones and soft flakes, with basically no impact on dry/wet rubbing fastness.

3.2. Not suitable for exhaustion finishing.

3.3. Compatible with our company's silicone oil EM-2301,EM-2302 and EM-2303. For silicones from other companies, customers must conduct small-scale trials first.
